Enhanced Thematic Mapper (ETM+)

ETM+ is a sensor equipped on Landsat-7 which produces images of Earth in 8 spectral bands (blue, green, red, NIR, MIR, panchromatic, and thermal band).

European Remote Sensing Satellite (ERS)

European earth observation satellite with a payload of various instruments operated by ESA.

European Space Agency (ESA)

Intergovernmental organisation of European countries, dedicated to the exploration of space.

Evapotranspiration

The process by which water is transferred from the land to the atmosphere by evaporation from the soil and transpiration from plants.
